Welcome to ENG 6813: Interdisciplinary Teaching. This week introduces the course and begins our exploration of what it means to teach across disciplines in the humanities — and what changes when AI enters the picture. We’ll ground ourselves in frameworks for digital humanities pedagogy and start thinking about what “interdisciplinary” means for our own teaching contexts.
NEH Workshop 1: Introducing AI for DH Pedagogy (May 13, 10 AM - noon, CHDR) — The first optional live workshop introduces the NEH project and explores how generative AI is reshaping digital humanities pedagogy. Attendance is encouraged but not required; recordings will be available.
